Uplifting the Promenade

Coincidentally, our Councilor for the area was on site doing the same and revealed his plans to convert the space to a Christmas Flea Market. We applaud you, Mr. Raphael John, for your continued commitment to improving our community.

Traffic Management in Aranguez, El Socorro & Saddle Road

SJBA Directors accompanied Mr. Wole Matthews of the Traffic Management Branch, Ministry of Works and Transport at the locations of Mission Road, Aranguez Main Road, and El Socorro Main Road on the morning of the 8th November 2021.

Issues discussed included:

1) The no entry signs at the Croisse with possible alteration of the times.
2) Alternative Parking days on the El Socorro and Aranguez Main Roads to alleviate the parking and traffic situations.

 

SJBA praises the Police Service

The San Juan Business Association wishes to extend congratulations to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service in its rescue of businessman Mr. Kartikay Ramsundar on November 8th, 2021. More Specifically, we would like to acknowledge the work of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKU), the Special Operating Response Team (SORT), and the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on a job well done. The business community in San Juan applauds you and we know you would continue to deliver exceptional service to all citizens of Trinidad and Tobago. Keep up the good work Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Donald Jacob and Assistant Superintendent Mr. Romel Morales. We would also like to encourage the national business community and citizens to be vigilant in the fight against crime. It is critical to provide relevant information that can solve crime.

Breast Cancer Awareness 2021

On the 15th October, 2021, SJBA collaborated with Diskomart, whereby directors participated in the Cancer Awareness Campaign with specially invited guest speaker Mrs. Sherma Mills- Serrette (Team Lead Educator at the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society & Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
