President’s Mid Term Review

President of the SJBA: Mr. Jason Roach

Happy New Year to San Juan and our distinguished membership.

2021 has been a challenging year for business in our community. We have been faced with many challenges navigating Covid 19. This pandemic has certainly impacted unemployment, business activity, increased operating costs, and uncertainty. Our survival in this economic climate is pegged on our capacity to innovate and overcome these challenges. We are confident that this year will be the start of our path of revitalization! In the past couple of months, the Association has focussed its efforts to deliver greater service to our membership and community. We were also equally committed to lending our influence to initiatives that can boost business productivity within San Juan. In the remainder of this term, we would be focussing on webinars and relaunching our business services through our website. Stay tuned to San Juan Speaks for much more.

A Founding Member of SJBA has passed away.

While we mourn the passing of our friend and mentor, we salute his distinguished service to the SJBA, his devotion to our Country, and his visionary leadership in business. Our deepest condolences to his Family, Friends, and Employees of Caribbean Glass Specialist Ltd.

San Juan Promenade is now closed indefinitely. The Regional Corporation hopes this will discourage congregating off persons and the Pigeons infestation issue. Going forward they plan to continue a rigid program of maintenance and sanitation.
